The client, a laser stripping machine manufacturer, approached Hitech engineers to develop the concept and design universal guide bar mechanism for laser stripping machine to hold the wires. Hitech project team developed the concept and delivered detailed engineering drawings for the manufacturing assistance of universal guide bar mechanism.
Develop concept from scratch for universal guide bar mechanism for stripping insulation of all sized wires.
Deliver detailed engineering drawings including GA drawings, BOMs and manufacturing drawings.
Designing removable bars to fit all sized wires to be in focus.
Suitable fixtures for end locators fixed at the end of guide bars.
Appropriate grip of the wire between the adjustable and fixed teeth.
Hitech engineers received the requirements and details of the laser machine and engineers proposed concept designs for approval considering precise needs during laser stripping. Upon the receipt of concept design approval from client end, GA drawings and comprehensive manufacturing drawings were developed by the engineers for universal guide bar mechanism.
Hitech design engineers prepared two concepts considering a movable and a non-movable bar keeping technical inputs provided by the client in center.
Various knobs, end locators, fixtures etc. were accurately located in the designs.
Once the concept was design, it was sent to the client for approvals and changes if need be.
After the final approval of 3D concept model, Hi-Tech drafters and engineers developed the assembly GA drawing, exploded view with BOMs & 2D manufacturing sub-assemblies and mono drawings of all the parts.
Final part drawings and assembly model with corrections were shared with the client for manufacturing assistance Results.
One common universal fixture was developed for all sized wires.
Reduced design development time and changes were incorporated early.
Eliminated frequent flow of designs from client to Hitech and vice versa adding to better quality.
