The Challenges.

• Extracting the jewellery from the background without leaving any trace in the actual background/stand.
• Extra care was to be taken while sharpening the objects in the image as that would enhance the noise in the even toned areas as well.
• Clipping out the tiniest hole of the jewelry so as to merge it with desired background.

The Solution.

Delivered more than 36,000 images with post production of clipping out every tiny hole of the jewellery and merging it in the background as suggested by the client.

• Edited images were sent to the client in the quickest turnaround time of 38 hours.
• Confidentiality, copyright and privacy was the top priority, as images were not merged, published, distributed, sub-licensed, sold or inseminated further.

Technology / Software.

After comprehending client requirements; it was concluded to use Adobe Photoshop for editing and Adobe Lightroom for color corrections for successfully executing this image enhancement project.

Our graphic designers clipped out the background with help of a pen tool, though a time consuming process, yielded perfection in term so final images – to match client expectations. While being selective about increasing the sharpening, they targeted only those areas that were required to be sharpened and leaving the rest of the image untouched. Graphic designers are working on this ongoing project, enhancing more than 750 images every month. Upon completion, the process of data transfer through server was followed to send, images back to the client.
