A 3D model for curing tool was developed using CAD tools and was analyzed for obtaining temperature profiles across the cross-section. The results obtained suggested that the tool was suitable to perform curing operations.
HitechDigital project team received input thermal conditions and developed FE model for performing axisymmetric analysis by replicating actual physical conditions and temperature distribution profiles were studied which suggested that adhesive joints possessed sufficient shear strength.
