Data was extracted from the web resources, along with applying an automation program to effectively capture the data.

After comprehending client requirements, it was concluded that a web based application, would be used for interpreting & entering data from Multi listing sites and appraiser websites.

The Challenges.

• To look out for relevant web resources from where the data has to be extracted. WE had even make sure that the information of all the attorneys, even deceased ones is extracted and put into the database.
• Complete and deliver the project in a given time-frame. And while doing so, we had to make sure that quality is not put on the back-seat at any point of time.

• Around 309,000 records were done in the span of 45 days, thus finishing the project in the quickest turnaround time.
• It gave the client a detailed, systematic and easy-to-access database containing the minutest detail.

Hi-Tech’s Solution.

• The client wanted to have complete database, with information of the attorneys (even those who are no longer alive) registered with the Californian bar council.
• This data was further delivered in an Excel database, in 2 formats (licensing and discipline).
• During the course of project, we got an amazing site, which had all the details, we required.
• Since, we had to extract the data, even the minutest, so we applied automated system; wherein our software developers build spiders and bots to collect the information from the sites.
• These spiders and bots helped to capture the data which might not be possible to do applying the manual methods.
• To ensure the quality is uniformly maintained; we prepared a check list of the fields and QC was done based entirely on that.
• Once, the QC was done, the final data was formatted and converted into Pipe Delimited file, as the client’s requirement.hich might not be possible to do applying the manual methods.
